Student opportunities and activities

HPGE Opportunities

All students have different strengths and abilities and it is our role to identify these talents and offer opportunities that nurture and develop them.

Students participated in a number of G&T programs including Create, Visual Arts Workshops, Leadership initiatives, High School programs and varied competitions.

Creative arts

Creative arts at school are a space where imagination comes alive. During the art lessons, students explore color, shape, and texture while discovering their own unique styles. Guided by an encouraging art teacher, they learn new techniques, experiment with materials, and gain confidence in expressing their ideas. Together, they create a vibrant community where creativity grows every day.

Science and Technology

Science and technology at school help students explore how the world works through hands-on learning and real-world experiences. Incursions bring experts into the school—such as scientists, engineers, or technology demonstrators—allowing students to see cutting-edge ideas up close. Excursions to museums, science centres, or technology labs extend this learning even further, giving students the chance to interact with exhibits, conduct experiments, and discover how science and technology shape everyday life. Together, these experiences make learning exciting, practical, and inspiring.

Language Programs

Learning French at school is important because it opens doors to global communication, culture, and opportunity. French is spoken on five continents, making it valuable for travel and future careers. Beyond academics, learning French builds cultural awareness and allows students to connect with art, history, and international communities.

Sport Programs

Our sports programs help students build skills, confidence, and teamwork. We offer a variety of inclusive programs such as NRL clinics, Tennis, Basketball, Netball, Gymnastics, Hockey and Soccer in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Swimming program ensure children learn vital water-safety skills alongside stroke development. Together, these sports create a balanced, active, and engaging environment for young learners.
