Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

Costs to consider include:

  • uniforms

  • school books and equipment

  • excursions

  • co-curricular activities.

Requests for work books and school pack items are kept to a minimum. Further information in regards to these items is forwarded to families at the end of each school year in readiness for the following year.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

At the start of each year, we ask for a voluntary school contribution to enhance our educational programs. We aim to minimise the cost of this and have managed to keep it at $40 per child/$57 per family for the past 4 years.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.

Money collection

We offer a number of programs and activities that require payment. When paying for any activities, money should be placed in an envelope with your child’s name, class, amount, and details of payment example Zoo Excursion on the front of the envelope and the permission slip enclosed. The envelope should then be placed in the letterbox attached to the wall outside the school office (school side).

Alternatively we also offer Parent Payments Online (POP) via the 'Make a payment' tab on our home page. This method gives you the opportunity to pay by savings and credit card. It is essential that you include your child’s name in the payment reference and let us know what the payment is covering. When returning the corresponding permission note, please include the receipt number.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school office if you have any questions.
