Parents and citizens association

A Parent & Citizen (P&C) Association is a school-based voluntary organisation consisting of parents, teachers and local community members.  It is an important part of our school as it contributes to raising vital funds to support the education of our students; it fosters a sense of community within the school and provides important services for the children and families.

Our school P&C operates the school canteen, uniform shop, school banking and organises fundraising events. They are energetic and the range of activities organised are diverse, including school discos, comedy nights, mother’s day and father’s day fundraisers, spring fairs, BBQs and many more! Monies raised have been used to purchase playground equipment, iPads, interactive whiteboards, air conditioners, student resources and equipment and funding for our French program.

P&C meet the first Monday of every month at 6:30pm in the school library. Email reminders are always sent out to parents as well as being advertised on the school electronic noticeboard. Everyone is always welcome!

P&C meetings provide an excellent opportunity to be involved and contribute to our school community and to work together to enhance and enrich school life for our children. At these meetings it is discussed how monies raised by the P&C will be spent, progress on upcoming events and hear updates from our school Principal.

Going forward in 2018, the P&C have committed to continuing to fund a term of French lessons for all students, supplementing the State Government grant for the outdoor sensory equipment and revamping the grounds after major construction works have been completed.
Of course, none of this can happen without the support of our school sponsors and our local community.
